CHS ANNOUNCEMENTS
11/14/13
STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, November 14.

The Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Charlotte Tuesday night 3-0 in the Regional Semi-Final and advances to the Regional Final against Wayland Union.  The team is playing tonight at 7 pm in Eaton Rapids. Go Bulldogs!

Interact members, come by Ms. Lutz's room today after school or tomorrow morning to make holiday cards for military service members.  See Ms. Lutz if you have any questions.

You will be someone's hero. You could help save as many as three lives with just one donation. Donate blood on Tuesday December 10th in the Chelsea High School gym. Please sign up for a time with Madisen Powell, or see Julia Porter, Colleen Bertoni, or Mrs. Holmes for more information.

Schedule changes for Term 2 & Term 3 will be on November 18th, 19th, and 20th.  Forms will be available on November 15th.

Juniors - we will have our very first prom meeting next Tuesday night at 7pm in the media center. Anyone who would like to be a part of the planning of prom should show up and plan to participate.

Student Council members, our meeting will be held today during 4th hour today. Please be dismissed from class at 12:45p.

BACKPACK REMINDER

Student backpacks are not to be used to carry books and materials between classes.  Backpacks must be kept in student lockers until the end of the day.

Students who carry backpacks during the school day will be directed to return them to their school lockers. Students who are late to class because they needed to return a backpack to their locker will receive an unexcused tardy.   Continued usage of backpacks during the school day may be treated as insubordination.

Do you have old coats cluttering up your closet?  Why not organize your closet and help keep our community warm by donating to the Faith in Action coat drive?  Bring any new or gently used coats to your 4th hour class beginning tomorrow, through next Thursday.  The 4th hour class with the most coats donated wins a pizza/study party on the 22nd.  Contact James Straub, Kat Haroney or Adam Bowersox with any questions.
