STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, November 25.

Congratulations to our Girls Swim and Dive team as the earned a 23rd place finish at the Division 3 State Meet this past weekend!  Great job girls!  

Are you an athlete currently without a winter sport? Are you concerned about staying in shape over the holidays? The wrestling team still needs people willing to work hard! Come join us and get in shape! We promise you won't be disappointed! Practices happen right after school in the wrestling room. See you there!

Attention Seniors.  The deadline for requesting letters of recommendation from your counselor is Dec. 2.  Please plan accordingly.

Due to exam prep, no schedule changes are being accepted right now.     

Students, please note that Term 2 schedules will not be printed.  Schedules will be pushed to iPads next week.  You will need to log in to your student PowerSchool account to see your Term 2 schedule on your iPad.  Everyone should be logging into their PowerSchool account to stay current on checking grades and attendance.

If you are a talented artist and want $25 in iTunes money, submit a drawing or photo for the literary magazine! Compete for the cover design of The Accolade by submitting a piece to chsaccolade2014@gmail.com. All entries must be submitted by December 13th. Only one may win the contest and the $25 iTunes card, but all will be considered for entry into The Accolade.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, November 21.

Students, please note that Term 2 schedules will not be printed.  Schedules will be pushed to iPads next week.  You will need to log in to your student PowerSchool account to see your Term 2 schedule on your iPad.  Everyone should be logging into their PowerSchool account to stay current on checking grades and attendance.

Attention Freshmen!!  End of Term Exams are next week, and your Link Leaders want to help you prepare.
Join us tonight after school from 3-6 pm for Cocoa and Cram. We'll have free cookies, hot cocoa, and plenty of Link Leaders to help you study for your first round of high school exams. We start at 3:00 in the Commons. See you there!

Attention Bleu Print Staff: All current staff members should wear their new staff T-shirts this Friday, Bleu Print distribution day.  See Mikhaila if you don't have your shirt yet.

Attention yearbook staff--There is a meeting after school today until 4:30.  Pages are due to your section editors!

Due to cancelled school on Monday the date for schedule change request forms has been extended by one day.  If a student has submitted their form by 3:00 pm today,  every attempt will be made to have their schedule changed prior to the new term.   Please note that Term 3 schedules should be adjusted at this time.  There will not be another window of opportunity to do so in March.  

There is a World Language Club meeting Friday in Mrs. Sinacola's room #134 at 7:30 am to discuss fundraising, the international night, and signing up for the Chicago Trip.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, November 20.

Any football players that were supposed to meet with Coach Bush on Monday are re-scheduled for today after school.  If anyone has questions see Coach Bush.

Attention Freshmen!!  End of Term Exams are next week, and your Link Leaders want to help you prepare.
Join us this Thursday after school from 3-6 pm for Cocoa and Cram. We'll have free cookies, hot cocoa, and plenty of Link Leaders to help you study for your first round of high school exams. We start at 3:00 in the Commons. See you there!

Reminder to seniors in the Cadet Teaching program: your PowerPoints need to be ready to present in class on Monday.

Schedule change request forms are now available.  If a student has submitted their form by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20th every attempt will be made to have their schedule changed prior to the new term.   Please note that Term 3 schedules should be adjusted at this time.   There will not be another window of opportunity to do so in March.

Student backpacks are not to be used to carry books and materials between classes.  Backpacks must be kept in student lockers until the end of the day.

Students who carry backpacks during the school day will be directed to return them to their school lockers. Students who are late to class because they needed to return a backpack to their locker will receive an unexcused tardy.   Continued usage of backpacks during the school day may be treated as insubordination.


Do you have old coats cluttering up your closet?  Why not organize your closet and help keep our community warm by donating to the Faith in Action coat drive?  Bring any new or gently used coats to your 4th hour class beginning tomorrow, through next Thursday.  The 4th hour class with the most coats donated wins a pizza/study party on the 22nd.  Contact James Straub, Kat Haroney or Adam Bowersox with any questions.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, November 14.


The Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Charlotte Tuesday night 3-0 in the Regional Semi-Final and advances to the Regional Final against Wayland Union.  The team is playing tonight at 7 pm in Eaton Rapids. Go Bulldogs!

Interact members, come by Ms. Lutz's room today after school or tomorrow morning to make holiday cards for military service members.  See Ms. Lutz if you have any questions.

You will be someone's hero. You could help save as many as three lives with just one donation. Donate blood on Tuesday December 10th in the Chelsea High School gym. Please sign up for a time with Madisen Powell, or see Julia Porter, Colleen Bertoni, or Mrs. Holmes for more information.

Juniors - we will have our very first prom meeting next Tuesday night at 7pm in the media center. Anyone who would like to be a part of the planning of prom should show up and plan to participate.
