Attention Juniors and Seniors:  A Financial Aid Workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  Please be sure to share this information with your parents.  This is a very informative meeting that you won’t want to miss.

Attention CHS! Do you want to win a special Christmas gift? Check out the holiday edition of the Bleu Print which is out today.

The CHS Robotics team is organizing a Magic:  The Gathering tournament in the commons on December 21 from 200pm to 800pm.

Please pick up your lost and found items located outside the main office before you leave today.  All unclaimed items will be donated to Faith in Action.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, December 16.

Congrats to the Wrestlers who braved the winter weather to head to Coldwater and placed 5th out of 10 teams; winning 3 dual meets and losing 2. Going undefeated on the day were Steve Bleise, Dan Wisniewski, and Ryan Eisley. Picking up big team points were also Aiden Fernandez and Noah Manly who wrestle nearly all of his matches up a weight class giving up on average 20 pounds. Nice work boys! Wrestlers head to Huron this Thursday to take on Ypsilanti and Skyline.

The Sophomore Class is having a Holiday Treat Sale.  Surprise a friend or a special someone with a delivered handmade Holiday Treat and card.  Purchase at lunch or in the mornings from sophomore student council members and they will deliver them on Wednesday. 

The school store will be open during all lunches this week for your shopping needs.

Attention men’s XC runners:  Your SEC and Regional Championship patches are in.  Stop by and pick yours up TODAY from Mr. Swager's room.

Hey Junior!   A college plan survey has been sent to you via your school email from the Counseling Office.  Please submit your electronic response no later than Wednesday, December 18th.

Attention students taking the ACT test at Chelsea High School this Saturday, December 14th.    Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. and bring your calculator, two #2 pencils and your confirmation ticket.  Students should park in the Trinkle Road lot.  Check-in will be in the hall outside the Media Center doors.   Please note that cell phones are not allowed in the test building so please leave them at home or in your car.

Bulldog Update - Winter Term / Week #2

Here are a few notes from this past week as well as a few leading into the final week before the holiday break. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wassail - High School Choir
Mr. Hinz and the high school choirs will be hosting their annual holiday Wassail concert at the high school on Saturday, December 14 at 6:00pm.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. This has become a great holiday tradition at CHS.  We hope to see you there.

World Language Fair
Our World Language Club is hosting their World Language Fair at CHS on Wednesday, December 18 from 6:00-8:00pm.  There will be fun, food and even some salsa dancing. Plan on stopping by and checking this event out.

Parent/Principal Meeting
We have our second Parent/Principal meeting scheduled for Monday, December 16 in the high school Media Center from 6:00-7:00pm.  I will be reviewing the report from our recent school accreditation review and discussing scheduling for the upcoming school year.  I look forward to seeing you there.      

Winter Break 
Winter break will run Monday, December 23, 2013 through Sunday, January 5, 2014. School resumes on Monday, January 6, 2014.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, December 11.

A reminder to all Bleu Print staff that there is a meeting right after school in the journalism room.  Anyone who has not turned in the final draft of their article as well as all page editors should attend. See you there!

There will be a World Language club meeting in Mrs. Sinacola's room 134, Friday at 7:30a.

Come join the madness! This Thursday night at 6:30 in the CHS gym the Boys Basketball program is hosting  a "Midnight" Madness. Admission is free. All teams 7th through varsity will be represented in skill competitions. There will also be Blue/Gold scrimmages for every level. The madness will end with your Chelsea Bulldogs Varsity Boys Basketball team facing off against each other in a Blue/Gold scrimmage at 8:00pm. Come show your support and see some exciting basketball.

Brass Pass applications for the first term are now available in the main office and are due no later than Friday, Dec 13th.  If you have any questions please Mrs.Tucker in the office.

The school store will be open the next two weeks during all lunches for your shopping needs.

Seniors:  orders for caps and gowns along with graduation announcements will be taken next Wednesday and Thursday in the commons during lunch hours.  You will need your order form and a $50.00 deposit.  Please make checks payable to Jostens.   Additional information packets are in the office.

Look left. Look right. Chances are the people next to you will need blood someday. In fact, there is a 97% chance someone you know will need blood in their lifetime. Stop by Dec 10th in the CHS gym or sign up with Madisen Powell or Mrs. Holmes to give blood. Thank you. 

SLS (students leading students) is collecting stocking stuffer items for familys with teenage children. Items can include, but are not limited to, things like: Chapstick, deodorant, hair and body wash, card games and other teen age appropriate things that can fit inside a Christmas stocking. Donations may be brought to Mrs. Waldo's room 113 or placed in the box inside the office.  Together, we can help make someone's Christmas better. 

One Act auditions for Red Dress Diaries will be held in the CHS auditorium today, after school. There will be a student interest meeting from 3:30 to 4pm, followed by auditions from 4-7 pm. Expect to stay the whole time. There are lots of opportunities for students to be involved onstage and behind the scenes.
