Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, September 22.

JV volleyball won silver at the Howell tournament. Nice job team.

Do you still need to pick up last year’s yearbook?  Come to the yearbook room 228 during zero hour all this week to pick yours up.

As a reminder, students do NOT update to IOS 8 on your iPads!

Juniors - Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up for the PSAT test that will be given on October 15th.   Cost is $14.00.    Please visit the CHS Guidance/Counseling Office website to register on-line.  If you are planning on attending college, you should take this test!

Wednesday - University of Michigan
Thursday - Albion College
Friday - Sienna Heights
Sign up in the Counseling Office.

Auditions for Co. C are tomorrow at 6pm. Come with about 1 minute piece of a song prepared *improv if needed* Be there or be a square.

Attention students - if you are 16 years of age or older, WE NEED YOUR BLOOD! Just donating one pint of blood can save up to three lives! The need is dire. If you are interested, please see Mariel Arbogast-Wilson or Mrs. Holmes for more information and sign ups.

There will be a brief tech meeting tomorrow from 3:15-3:45 in the scene shop. Anyone interested in being part of the tech crew for the Fall Musical should attend. Set building will begin after the meeting. If you would like to help out, you are more than welcome to stick around after the meeting.
The deadline to order the class of 2018 t-shirts has been moved to this Thursday.   The shirts are $15.00 and payment may be made to Jeremy Northrop, Jordan Fannin, Emma Catalina, Rose Soriano or Mrs. McIntosh in room 212.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, September 11.

A reminder to students that tomorrow is the last day to turn in iPad insurance forms.

This Friday come show your support for the football team at Huron. Our away game theme is Blue and Gold! Also, be sure to vote for the Chelsea-Huron game on the clickondetroit4 frenzy.

Good luck to the Chelsea Equestrian Team who will be competing in their District Meets in Mason this weekend.

SRSLY has its first coalition meeting of the year tonight, 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the Chelsea District Library's McKune Room.  Join us for pizza and fun. SRSLY is meeting tonight at the Chelsea District Library.

There will be a Science Olympiad meeting on Monday, Sept. 15 in the staff lounge for students at 530p and their parents at 615p.  Pizza and pop will be provided.

The junior class is sponsoring a car wash this Saturday from 1 to 4 pm at the Chelsea State Bank. Calling on all juniors to please come out and help with this important fundraiser.  All proceeds go toward PROM.

Central Michigan University will be visiting next Tuesday.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.

Juniors and Seniors, the Michigan Remembers 9-11 Fund is pleased to announce its 4th annual scholarship essay contest for Michigan high school juniors and seniors.   This scholarship writing contest is to encourage high school students to research and express their reflections on how the impact of these terrorist attacks affected them personally, their family members or friends, their communities, or the nation as a whole.  Information is available in the Counseling Office.

The Chelsea District Library is hosting a Scholarship Open House Monday September 15th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.  Learn about college scholarships from state, local and national organizations.

Attention students taking the ACT test at Chelsea High School this Saturday, September 13th.    Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. and bring your calculator, two #2 pencils and your confirmation ticket.  Students should park in the Trinkle Road lot.  Check-in will be in the hall outside the Media Center doors.   Please note that cell phones are not allowed in the test building so please leave them at home or in your car.

All Chelsea High School students are invited to join Key Club.  Key Club is a community service club devoted to improving the lives of kids locally, nationally, and internationally. Find out more at our general membership meeting this Friday at 7:20am in room 116.

If you'd like to get involved helping your community and have fun while you're doing it, please consider joining Interact this year.  Our first meeting is this Friday at 7:35 in room 114.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Lutz.  We hope to see you Friday morning.

Attention CHS Drivers:  You must register your vehicles online if you intend to drive to school.  You have until Friday, September 19 to register your vehicles.  After that date, tickets and fines will be given.
