The carrying of backpacks to-and-from class is prohibited at CHS and is in violation of our CHS Code of Conduct. Carrying backpacks to-and-from classes causes overcrowding in the hallways and potential security problems for the school community. Student backpacks are not to be used to carry books and materials between classes.
Backpacks must be kept in student lockers after the beginning of your first class of the day until the end of your school day. Students who carry backpacks during the school day will be directed to return them to their school lockers. Students who are late to class because they needed to return a backpack to their locker will receive an unexcused tardy. Thank you for your compliance in this matter.
