Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, January 20.

Congrats to the Chelsea Wrestlers who defended their home turf and won the 1st annual Kargel Classic. Winning all 5 dual meets and defeating a tough Edsel Ford team in the finals 46-22.  Going undefeated on the day were Quinton Clark, Zach Bennett, Ryan Eisley and Noah Manly. Congrats boys! Wish them luck this Wednesday as they take on Monroe and Dexter.

American 1 Credit Union Community Involvement Scholarship Program rewards students for their involvement in their communities. Each student who applies for the scholarship will submit an essay, in 1,500 words or less, on the benefits of altruism and how the student has impacted his or her community through their involvement.  Applications must be submitted by Friday, February 20, 2015 and are available at the Chelsea High School Counseling Office.

Grass Lake Sportsmen’s Club Scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who is interested in a career which would be conducive to the goals of the club in promoting and protecting the environment of the Great Lakes State. Applications are available at Chelsea High School Counseling Office.

Washtenaw Community College is offering six full tuition scholarships to Chelsea High School seniors.  You must apply for admission by March 1st and for the scholarship by March 15th.  For more information check the counseling office website.

All 5th hour release students and 5th hour online students should report to Ms Conklin’s room during 5th hour today for the A.L.I.C.E lesson.

There will be a World Language Club meeting, on Wednesday, January 21th, at 7:40 am in Mr.Forsberg's room. We will talk about going to the Short Film Festival at the DIA.
