Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, January 27.

Art club will be cancelled today.

Attention student council members.  We have a meeting this Wednesday at 2:15. See you all there!

Attention NHS Members:  Go to Haiku to vote for your choice of faculty speaker at our induction ceremony.  You must vote by Friday.

Interact is running a Cupcakes for Coats drive this week. Bring in any new or gently used coats and jackets to Ms. Lutz's room this Thursday or Friday in exchange for a cupcake! You get one cupcake per item and all donations are going to Faith in Action at the end of the week.

Attention all Juniors!  If you would like to help in organizing prom this year, please come to an informational meeting Wed. 28 at 3:00 in the media center. Thanks and we encourage you all to attend.
Next week during lunch Student Council will be running a change drive. Change will be donated at lunch and by grade. Proceeds go to Motts children's hospital and the winning grade will get points added to their Winter Carnival total.

Seniors:  The Josee L. Alvarez Memorial Scholarship is awarding $1,500 to a graduating Chelsea High School senior this year.  The application deadline is March 17th.  See the Counseling Office scholarships web page for more information and the link for the online application.

Attention Senior Wrestlers:  The Kevin J. Bollinger Memorial Wrestling Scholarship application form is available in the Counseling Office.   This scholarship is available for any post-secondary education, including vocational, technical, two year and four year degree.  Don't miss out on this scholarship opportunity.

Attention Sophomores:  As you schedule for next year, you may be concerned that the ACT class elective will no longer be relevant. We are aware of the State's proposed change to the SAT as the required test and, if necessary, will adapt the ACT class to prepare you for both tests.

There will be a World Language Club meeting tomorrow at 7:45 am in Mr.Forsberg's room. We will be discussing the Short Film Festival at the DIA, if you’re planning on going you must come to the meeting or talk to Mr.Forsberg. The meeting should only take 5 minutes.
