Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, January 29.

It’s been a busy week for the wrestlers, who won the Flint Beecher Invitational over the weekend. The Bulldogs also defeated Ypsilanti and Skyline on Monday. Last night they took on Lincoln and Pioneer. The boys wrestled tough, beating Pioneer 42-29 and losing a close match to Lincoln 33-36. Congrats guys and keep working hard!

There will be a ‘NewYorkistra’ rehearsal tomorrow morning at 700a.

Attention NHS Members:  Go to Haiku to vote for your choice of faculty speaker at our induction ceremony.  You must vote by Friday.

Attention NHS Members:  Sign-up link for to help with the state One-Act competition is now available on the NHS home page of Haiku.  Also, don't forget to vote for induction speaker by Friday.

Attention sophomores:   If you still want to buy a class t-shirt bring $10.00 to Mrs. Huggs’ room during zero hour or after school.

The Patriots lead the Seahawks at the half by a score of 47 to 18.  You can still impact the outcome of the Souper Bowl of Caring by dropping off your canned food items sometime today or tomorrow.  Please help support your team and Faith In Action.

Interact is running a Cupcakes for Coats drive this week. Bring in any new or gently used coats and jackets to Ms. Lutz's room this by Friday in exchange for a cupcake! You get one cupcake per item and all donations are going to Faith in Action at the end of the week.

Next week during lunch Student Council will be running a change drive. Change will be donated at lunch and by grade. Proceeds go to Motts children's hospital and the winning grade will get points added to their Winter Carnival total.

The Chelsea House Orchestra’s Annual Hometown Show is this Saturday evening in the CHS auditorium. The show starts at 7:00pm and tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

There will be a Theatre Guild meeting this Friday at 3:00 in the Drama Room. All are welcome to attend.

Seniors interested in information on gap year programs there is a GAP YEAR Fair at Skyline High School on Thursday, January 29th from 6 to 8:30 p.m.   This event is an opportunity to learn about a number of life changing gap year programs from around the world!
Students interested in taking a Consortium class next year Saline is hosting a Consortium Open House on Monday, February 2nd at Saline High School from 6 to 8 p.m.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the different courses offered through the program. 

Students should have your course selections for next year submitted online no later than today.  Course selection sheets including parent signatures are due to your 5th hour teacher by Friday, January 30th.  Any required forms such as independent study, release, consortium, etc. should be attached.
Dual Enrollment students that have signed up for WCC Fundamentals of Speaking next trimester you need to apply to WCC by this Friday if you have not done so already.  Parent/Principal forms are due to Mrs. Weber no later than Monday, February 2nd.  WCC will be here on Friday, February 6th to administer the COMPASS admissions test.  Please contact Mrs. Weber if you have additional questions.
There will be no after school conditioning today.
