Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, April 14.

The CHS robotics team advanced to states last week and placed third in Michigan during playoffs. They will be at the world competition in St. Louis next week. Congratulations, team 1502!

Attention former Hitler and Holocaust students.  The field trip is on Monday, April 20.  If you have not turned in your updated permission slip, please do so by this Wednesday.  Space is limited to 2 buses.

If you are a senior who is considering community college, there will be a visit to WCC on Tuesday, April 21, from 8:00-11:15a.   This will be a comprehensive tour and school excused absence.   Lunch on campus will be furnished.  Sign up in the counseling office by Wednesday.  Space is limited.

The United States Army will be visiting Thursday during A, B and C lunch in the Counseling Office.  If you are interested, sign up in the Counseling Office.

Seniors the deadline to apply for a Chelsea Scholarship Committee scholarships is this Wednesday April, 15th by 3:00 p.m.  No late applications will be accepted.  Do not miss this opportunity, one application covers several different local scholarships.  The online application is on the Counseling Office website.

The Chelsea Women's Service Club Scholarship application is due to the Counseling Office by Thursday, April 16th.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors. Prom is coming up on Saturday, May 2nd, and this year's theme is Casino Royale!  Tickets are now for sale before school, during lunches and after school, through April 24th.  You'll hit the jackpot when you buy your ticket for a fun filled night!  This year, there will also be a prom-posal contest! Take a video or pictures of your proposal for prom to that special someone and submit it to chspromposal@gmail.com The winning prom-posal will receive a pair of tickets! GSA would like to invite you to participate in some fun activities this week in order to increase awareness for issues involving L,G,B,T,Q students and their allies.  National Day of Silence is on Friday, April 17th.  Students participating in this event will arrange with their teachers ahead of time.  As always, there is a GSA meeting on Wednesday at 3:00 in the counseling office.  Today is opposite day. 

If you are interested in running for Student Council, now is your last chance! Please see the Student Council page on the CHS website for more information or talk to Ms.Geo in the Art Room. Registration is due TOMORROW morning!

Come join Ultimate Frisbee Club this Friday from 3:00-5:00p at the Pierce Lake rec fields. Bring a light and dark colored shirt, water, and a frisbee if you have one. All skill levels are welcome! If you have any questions see Ian Brinklow or Nic Arons.
