Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, April 2.

On Tuesday, the Chelsea Girls' track and field team managed to defeat Ypsilanti by a score of 105-30.

Some individual highlights were Rachael Yordanich running excellent times in the 100 and 200, winning the
Events.   Hannah Almheimid ran well in the 100 hurdles, winning in dominant fashion.  The 4x800 and 4x400 teams took advantage to win their relays. Sydney Matusik PR'd in the 400, and won the event.  Kaehla Manly won the 300 hurdles and  Emily Schwarz had a huge PR in the 3200 and won the event.

Seniors : Applications for the Chelsea Lions Club Service Award are now available in the Counseling Office.  This yearly award is available to two recipients for service to the community, be it your school, your town, your place of worship, a Lions club, or any combination.   Applications are due no later than April 27th.  Also,  please be aware that there are several scholarships posted on the Counseling Office web page that have applications due right after you return from Spring Break.  Do not miss out on these opportunities because you've missed a deadline.
Seniors: Do you think you're funny?  Are you a class clown?  Do you even crack yourself up?  Then the Simply Comedy Scholarship is for you.  This year the SCS committee has included a video submission that showcases your comedy stylings and creative mind as part of their scholarship application.  Please keep the video under 2 minutes and school appropriate - PG13.  Otherwise there are no specific restrictions.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

The O'Quinn Family Edward Jones Scholarship is a scholarship as an opportunity for students who plan to enter an accredited four-year college or university, desire to study business, and who have developed a cursory understanding of the importance of ethical behavior in business.  Applications are now available in the Counseling Office.
It's Election Season at Chelsea High School. If you are interested in running for Student Council, now is your chance! These positions look great on college applications as well as resumes.  Please see the Student Council page on the CHS website for more information or talk to Ms. Geo in the Art Room. Registration is open now!

Attention all Key Club members!!   A reminder that our annual Easter egg hunt is this Saturday April 4th.  We need all Key Club members who are not out of town to help with this fun event. Meet at the Chelsea Retirement Center at 9:00 am to spread joy by hiding Easter eggs.
