Congrats to the men’s track team, who are your 2015 Regional Champions!! The bulldogs bested 14 other teams by scoring a dominating 122 points. This is the third straight Regional Title for the guys...great job men!
Those advancing to the state finals are:
Bailey Edwards in the 100 and 200
Noah Van Reesema in the high jump and 300 hurdles
Mike Smith in the discus
David Trimas in the 3200 run
The 4x 100 and 4x200 relays, who also included Ken McDowell, Lawrence Buckley, Ty Nelson, and Zach Skogheim.
The girls' track team finished 3rd at the MHSAA regional on Friday. The following athletes have qualified for the Division 2 state finals: Artemis Eyster, Karana Wickens, Hannah Almhiemid, Laura McGrath, Christine Schultz, Kaehla Manly, Sydney Matusik, and Rachael Yordanich. Great job ladies!
Seniors, please have your lockers cleaned out by next Thursday to avoid any fines.
Students interested in summer employment local job opportunities are being posted outside the counseling office door. New postings are coming in daily.
The Counseling Office is looking for New Student Mentors for next year. Students that would like to help make our new students feel welcome in the fall please see Mrs. Weber.
Juniors, you should see an app automatically installed on your iPad called either DRC-Insight or MI-Insight over the next couple of days. Do NOT delete this app it will be used for MSTEP testing that starts on May 26th. Just ignore it until you are instructed to use it on the 26th.
Anyone interested in participating in the upcoming fall musical, Beauty and the Beast, are invited to attend the next Theatre Guild meeting Wednesday, May 20 after school in the Drama Room. We will also discuss our end of year banquet, nominate officers, and learn some new improv!
For those who are interested in playing field hockey next year, come out to the Chelsea field hockey registration meeting on Wednesday May 27th at 6:30 pm at the old high school board room. Please come because we would love to have you!
