Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, September 11.


Attention students taking the ACT test at Chelsea High School this Saturday, September 12th.    Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. and bring your calculator, two #2 pencils and your confirmation ticket.  Students should park in the Trinkle Road lot.  Check-in will be in the hall outside the Media Center doors.   Please note that cell phones are not allowed in the test building so please leave them at home or in your car.

Test-Out forms for the November testing day are due next Tuesday, September 15th by 3:00 pm.   Forms are available in the Counseling Office and will not be accepted after that date.

Attention High School Girls the Michigan Council of Women InTechnology Foundation announced their 10th Annual Website Design Competition.  Michigan high school girls are challenged to create a website addressing the 2015 theme: "Food, Glorious Food!"   Details are posted outside the counseling office door.

Students looking for volunteer opportunities there are two local groups looking for YOU!
Kathy Hay is looking for a group of volunteers for Saturday, September 26th to clean up a portion of I-94.  For more information see Mrs. Weber in the counseling office.

St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church would like volunteers on Sept, 19th and 20th to help at their 3rd Annual Ann Arbor Russian Festival.  For contact information see the flyer by the counseling office door or see Mrs. Weber.

Chelsea District Library is hosting Scholarship 101 Sunday, September 13th from 1:30-3:30 pm.  This workshop focuses on where to look for scholarships and how to apply for them! Open to students ages 12 and up.   Registration is required.

Do you love making friends? Taking pictures? Eating pizza? Designing web pages? Or having fun? Then come to the CHS Yearbook Club informational meeting on Monday at 3:00 in Mr. Zainea's room. All are welcome. See Ayla Raye-Leonard, Shaunna Caffrey, or Phoebe Clacher with questions.

Attention Students. There will be a FCA meeting for anyone interested in getting involved on Monday morning at 7:40am. Not sure what FCA is all about? Stop by Mr. French's room 213 on Monday to find out.

Fall musical is holding auditions for ensemble roles today at 330p in the auditorium.  Please prepare a short selection from a song and bring sheet music.

Do you like building robots?  Then join the Robotics team on Wednesday from 300-430p in room 506 for an informational meeting.  Snacks will be provided.

Do you like to participate in cultural events? There will be a meeting for World Language Club meeting Wednesday at 7:40am in Mr. Forsberg's room. We will plan and discuss events like Global Festival, international night, and others. 

Good luck to the equestrian team this weekend at Districts.
