Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, September 14.

The Varsity Volleyball team went 4-1 on Saturday, finishing as runner-ups in the Mt Morris Invitational.  The team plays Bedford Home on Wednesday with the Freshmen and JV playing at 5:30 and the Varsity playing at 7.

All Civil War students who plan on attending the Gettysburg trip, the permission slips are due by Wednesday.  If they aren't in, you aren’t going.  Turn them in to Mr. Pedlow asap.
Test-Out forms for the November testing day are due Tuesday, September 15th by 3:00 pm.   Forms are available in the Counseling Office and will not be accepted after that date.

Attention Juniors and Seniors, we have several college admission reps that will be visiting CHS this fall.  Visits will be announced and posted on the counseling office website.

The following colleges will be visiting this week:
Wednesday - Albion College
Thursday - Alma College
The sign up is in the counseling office.

Attention High School Girls the Michigan Council of Women InTechnology Foundation announced their 10th Annual Website Design Competition.  Michigan high school girls are challenged to create a website addressing the 2015 theme: "Food, Glorious Food!"   Details are posted outside the counseling office door.

SRSLY is excited to announce that today is the start of SRSLY Week. A week full of SRSLY great fun. There will be activities during lunch on Wednesday, tons of cool new SRSLY swag, an opportunity to grab a new membership card, and the Kickoff Rally this Friday at the home football game. This Friday will also be SRSLY t-shirt Friday. Don't miss out on all the fun!

Students looking for volunteer opportunities there are two local groups looking for YOU!
Kathy Hay is looking for a group of volunteers for Saturday, September 26th to clean up a portion of I-94.  For more information see Mrs. Weber in the counseling office.

St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church would like volunteers on Sept, 19th and 20th to help at their 3rd Annual Ann Arbor Russian Festival.  For contact information see the flyer by the counseling office door or see Mrs. Weber.

There is a CHS Yearbook Club informational meeting today at 3:00 in Mr. Zainea's room. All are welcome.

Do you like building robots?  Then join the Robotics team on Wednesday from 300-430p in room 506 for an informational meeting.  Snacks will be provided.

There will be a World Language Club  meeting onWednesday at 7:40am in Mr. Forsberg's room.

School store will open Wednesday during lunches.  All items 25% off this week only.

Attention all student council members, we have our first full council meeting this Wednesday at 820am in the auditorium.  Also, please check your emails.
