Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, October 30.

Congratulations to your Chelsea Varsity Field Hockey team!  Last night they defeated Skyline in the DI semi-final playoff game.  They accomplished this with super charged speed, tight passing, the best stick work in the state and incredible teamwork.  Come cheer your team in the State Final, Saturday 2:30 at Skyline.

A reminder for seniors: The VFW’s Voice of Democracy audio-essay competition application and audio CD are due to Mrs. Weber in the Counseling Office no later than 3:30 p.m. today.

The following colleges are visiting next week:
Tuesday - Saginaw Valley State University
Friday - Baker College

We will be lighting sky lanterns tonight after the football game.  To see a magic spectacle of light, come to the game and purchase a sky lantern.  Hope to see you there.

The Theatre Guild invites you to join them for an afternoon of improv on Halloween! From 2pm to 4pm this Saturday in the auditorium, they will be hosting a fun improv workshop open to all students. (Don't know what improv is? Think "Who's Line Is It Anyway"!  Plus, there will be plenty of food and Halloween treats!

There will be a Theatre Guild One Act meeting in the auditorium on Monday, November 2 at 3pm. Anyone interested in participating in or finding out more about the One Act play competition is welcome to attend.

SRSLY has a coalition meeting this next Monday, November 2nd, 6:30 – 8:00pm at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea in Atrium Rooms A & B. We'll be voting to determine Anti-Drug winners, hearing from our awesome project teams, and enjoying pizza. Join us on Monday night – it's going to be SRSLY fun!

Today is the last day of our Interact polio fundraiser – please contribute anything else you can to the purple collection canister in your classroom now.  An Interact member will be coming by to collect the canister in a few minutes.  Our fundraiser has been a huge success so far.  We will announce the total we raised and the winner of our Halloween candy party on Monday.  Thank you everyone for your generous support of this cause.
