Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, November 18.

Varsity football plays in the state semi-final on Saturday at 1pm at Jackson High School.  We encourage all students to attend this exciting event.  The winner will play at Ford Field for the state championship.  Tickets may be purchased in the athletic office and at lunch on Thursday and Friday.  Tickets are $6 each.

Attention NHS members.  There is an opportunity for volunteer time on Saturday December 5th.  During Chelsea's Hometown Holiday celebration the Firsts United Methodist Church provides time for children to purchase and wrap gifts for their family.  Your help is needed to work with the children as they make decisions and wrap gifts.  Please see the signup link on the NHS Haiku page.

Eight CHS staff members are raising money for the Movember Foundation, which promotes men's health issues related to physical inactivity, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.  Mr. French, Senior Rodriguez, Professor Pedlow, Mr. Zainea, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Arons, Mr. Moundros and Principal Kapolka will shave a mustache during lunch on Friday to support Movember.   You can vote on the style of each teacher’s ‘stache in their room.  Each vote is a quarter and will be donated to the Movember campaign.

Attention freshmen: Finals are coming! To prepare, you should stay after school on Thursday for Link Crew's annual Cocoa and Cram.  We'll have cookies, hot chocolate, and experienced link leaders to help you study up!  It's this Thursday from 3-6.
