Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, April 30.

Seniors:  If you haven't voted for the 2015 prom king and queen yet, now and is the time. Please go to haiku and vote by pressing the "extra" option. Then click on "seniors".

Attention all NHS Seniors: please pay your dues by May 6th to Mrs. Holmes or Maegen Hopkins. They are $15.00 and required for graduation cords.

Sophomores and Juniors:  Link Leader applications are due today! Find and complete the application by going to the CHS website, clicking "Clubs and Activities" and then "Link Crew".  Link Crew would love to hear from you.

Attention all Key Club members: there will be a Key Club meeting on Friday May 1 at 7:30 in room 116.  This is an important meeting.  We will be electing officers for next year and have a guest speaker attending this weeks' meeting.  Just a reminder, if you are interested in an officer position for next year, please contact Ms. Segal or one of our current officers before Friday.

Seniors:  Today is the final day to register your vote for Prom King and Queen.  Go to the Senior Page in Haiku and click on the link to vote.

For those attending prom on Saturday, you WILL NOT need to bring your invitation with you to prom.  We have a master list of attendees and you will be checked in by that list.  For those of you who still need your invitation, we are finishing them and you will have them very soon.  We have a list of those students who still need to receive theirs.  Any questions, send an email to Mrs. Bareis.

Attention seniors!   Would you like to win $100?  Then submit your wills and misses to the Bleu Print for this year's senior magazine and be entered to win!  The deadline is May16th and they can be submitted through the Bleu Print app or emailed to chsbleuprint15@gmail.com.

Come join Ultimate Frisbee Club this Friday and Sunday from 3-5 at the Pierce Lake fields. We've added Sunday so people with spring sports can join us. Bring a light and dark colored shirt, water, and a frisbee if you have one. All skill levels are welcome! If you have any questions see Ian Brinklow or Nic Arons.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, April 29.

Seniors:  If you haven't voted for the 2015 prom king and queen yet, now and is the time. Please go to haiku and vote by pressing the "extra" option. Then click on "seniors".

Congrats to the men's track team who edged Tecumseh last night 69-68.   Individual victories were Bailey Edwards in the sprints, Mike Smith in the throws, and Jeremy Policht in the long jump.   Lawrence Buckley and Liam Heaney also won events, as well as the 4x200 and 4 x 100 relays.  Good work men.

The girls' track and field team defeated the Tecumseh Indians last night at home, by a resounding score of 99-36.  The win puts the team at 4-0 and they now have a chance to finish undefeated if they can beat Dexter at home next Tuesday.  Come out to the track to cheer on the Lady Bulldogs!

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, April 28.

Seniors only will now vote for the Prom King and Queen using their iPads.  The survey is linked on the Senior Haiku Page. 

There will be a very important meeting right after school today for all CURRENT senior football players about the LaFave scholarship.  It is a short meeting that all players should attend.  The meeting will be in the gym.

Seniors - The Simply Comedy Scholarship committee has extended their due date until Wednesday April 29th and has dropped the video requirement of the application.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  Don't miss this opportunity for scholarship money!

Seniors:  A representative from WCC will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, April 30, from 11:00-3:00p.
They will assist with the application process and applying  for finance aid.  Sign up in the Counseling Office for an appointment. 

Attention NHS Juniors: This is just a reminder that you need sign up for Tag Day on May 8 or May 9.  Go to Haiku and sign up for your preferred hour on the Sign Up Genius Site.  If you are unable to work on either of those days, please see Mr. Mitchell and he will have a different task for you.

The United States Navy will be visiting next Tuesday during A, B and C lunch.   Sign up in the Counseling Office.

Seniors due to technical difficulties, the Chelsea Education Foundation Scholarship deadline has been extended through April 30th. Please note their server is down temporarily but should be available now.

Seniors that have been active area of the Arts, Theater, Music and Drama are invited to apply for the Chelsea Area Players Scholarship. If you've spent many long hours working to make the magic of theater and the arts a reality in Chelsea this is a scholarship opportunity for you.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office and are due no later than Friday, May 15th. 

The school store will be open during lunch.  Stop in and check out all the new apparel.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors interested in becoming Link Leaders for 2015-16 school year:  Applications are available online on the school website thru Wed April 29th. Instructions on how to apply are available in the counseling office.

Your Prom King nominations are: Daniel Lindaur, Bryan Evans, Ben Vanneste, Juan Ruiz, Drew Deppner, Kyle Borton, and Jonah Bogarin.

And your Prom Queen nominations are:  Shivani Rana, Annelise Glaubitz, Erin Koch, Laura McGrath, Sarah Myers, and Carrie Williams.

Congrats to all the nominees! Seniors will be able to vote next Monday during 4th hour.
