Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, November 30.



Attention NHS members, sign up now to work the December blood drive.  The blood drive is next Tuesday, December 8th.  See the sign-up genius link in Haiku.

Looking for a great way to stay fit this winter?    The winter running club starts TODAY, and meets every day at 3:07 PM in the athletic hallway.  All guys and girls of any ability are welcome.  Bring a friend, and join us for fun and adventure!

The Theatre Guild will have an informational meeting about its Winter One Act production on Tuesday,
December 1 at 3:30 in the Drama Room. Anyone interested in finding out more about auditions or in participating in technical aspects of the production is invited. Auditions for the Winter One Act production will be held on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3 from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Drama Room.

Do you like to shop?  If so, please consider supporting SLS and Faith in Action by purchasing a stocking stuffer for a high school aged individual.  Items may be dropped off in room 113 or the media center by Dec. 11.

Steele Heating & Cooling will be purchasing tickets for the senior class to the football game at Ford Field on Saturday.  If seniors are interested in receiving a ticket, they just have to stop by the athletic office!!

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, November 20.



Good luck to the Chelsea Bulldogs Special Olympics floor hockey team who are competing in the State Championships in Lansing this weekend.  Go Bulldogs!

Varsity football plays in the state semi-final on Saturday at 1pm at Jackson High School.  We encourage all students to attend this exciting event.  The winner will play at Ford Field for the state championship.  Tickets may be purchased in the athletic office and are $6 each.

Got a friend or family member who can’t make it to the big game Saturday?  They can keep up with all the action at the Prep Zone on FoxSportsDetroit.com.  Follow the playoffs to Ford Field.

The Varsity hockey team and parents wish the Varsity football team good luck Saturday afternoon in their
semi-final game. Saturday evening the Varsity hockey team is starting their season at home at 5:30 pm vs. Canton. Hope to see you all there!

Varsity football plays in the state semi-final on Saturday at 1pm at Jackson High School.  We encourage all students to attend this exciting event.  The winner will play at Ford Field for the state championship.  Tickets may be purchased in the athletic office and again at lunch on Friday.  Tickets are $6 each.

Got a friend or family member who can’t make it to the big game Saturday?  They can keep up with all the action at the Prep Zone on FoxSportsDetroit.com.  Follow the playoffs to Ford Field.

Attention freshmen: Finals are coming! To prepare, you should stay after school today for Link Crew's annual Cocoa and Cram.  We'll have cookies, hot chocolate, and experienced link leaders to help you study up!  It's tonight from 3:00-6:00.

The Class of 2019 will be selling donuts and cider in the commons before school on Friday morning from 7:15-7:50. Donuts will be $1.50 and cider will be $1 or they may be purchased together for $2.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, November 18.


Varsity football plays in the state semi-final on Saturday at 1pm at Jackson High School.  We encourage all students to attend this exciting event.  The winner will play at Ford Field for the state championship.  Tickets may be purchased in the athletic office and at lunch on Thursday and Friday.  Tickets are $6 each.

Attention NHS members.  There is an opportunity for volunteer time on Saturday December 5th.  During Chelsea's Hometown Holiday celebration the Firsts United Methodist Church provides time for children to purchase and wrap gifts for their family.  Your help is needed to work with the children as they make decisions and wrap gifts.  Please see the signup link on the NHS Haiku page.

Eight CHS staff members are raising money for the Movember Foundation, which promotes men's health issues related to physical inactivity, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.  Mr. French, Senior Rodriguez, Professor Pedlow, Mr. Zainea, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Arons, Mr. Moundros and Principal Kapolka will shave a mustache during lunch on Friday to support Movember.   You can vote on the style of each teacher’s ‘stache in their room.  Each vote is a quarter and will be donated to the Movember campaign.
