Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, January 21.

Congrats to the Chelsea Wrestlers who won both their dual meets yesterday. First defeating Lincoln 35-33 and then defeating Pioneer 58-16.  There were a ton of exciting matches on the night. Against Lincoln Ty McTaggart had a huge pin in what should have been a close match. Quinton Clark and Josh Dosey both had come from behind wins to help decide the meet.  Against Pioneer it was a total team effort, but Micheal Barnes' win at 140 pounds was a huge boost. Other Chelsea wrestlers going 2-0 on the night were: Jacob Jacobusse, Josh Dosey, Nick Bleise, Micheal Barnes, Quinton Clark, Tristan Koch, Zach Bennett, and Ty McTaggart.  The wrestlers head to Lincoln Park this weekend. Good luck men.

The Varsity Hockey Club would like to challenge the high school students to two challenges.  The first one is that if 100 high school students attend the home game this Saturday at 5:30 against Skyline, all Chelsea High School Students will be admitted free for our Feb 3rd home game at 6:30 against Saline.

Our second challenge is this: We have invited all Chelsea Teachers and Staff to attend our next home this Saturday. We challenge the students to outnumber the Teachers and Staff at the game?

It's not too late to find your perfect match!!  The matchmaker survey link that was sent in your e-mail should be in your spam box.  Look for a message dated January 14 from Mr. Kapolka with the subject line "Matchmaker Survey".  Please fill out the survey as soon as possible.

Attention all members of Key Club!!   There will be a quick meeting on Friday Jan 22 at 7:30 in room 116.

Do you like winter?  Do you like dares?  We invite you to join the CHS polar plunge team and jump into an icy pool of water at the U of M stadium, February 19.  Donations collected will go to Special Olympics.  See Olivia Outhwaite or Ms. Fillion for more information.
