Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, March 14.

The Boys Swimming and Diving Team came in 3rd place over the weekend at the D3 State Championships.  Chelsea had 9 All State Performances.  The 200yd medley relay team of Kurt Jolly, Zach Lee, Lee Argir and Joey Mangner were State Champions and qualified for All America. 

Earning All State Honors:  Kurt Jolly earned 4, Joey Mangner earned 3, Jordan Smith earned 1 for meter diving, Zach Lee earned 2, Collin Babycz earned 2, Carter Engler and Lee Argir bother earned 1 for relays.  Other top scorers were Wes Wickens, Zach Lee, Collin Babycz and Lee Argir.

Coach Forsch congratulates the CHS Science Olympiad team on their overall 4th place win at Hillsdale College Regionals, where they competed in 23 events.  Medaling with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their events were Camden Dammeyer, Anna Argento, Marielle Lenehan, Madilynn O'Hara, Bennett Proegler, Meagan O'Hara, Kylie Saxton and Rheana Grudzinski.

Attention National Honor Society students, there is an opportunity to serve at the Company C. fundraiser this Wednesday evening.  If you still need service hours please check out the signup genius link in Haiku.

Cadet Kurcz from the United States Military Academy at West Point will be visiting Tuesday, March 15 during all three lunches.  If you are interested in learning more about opportunities available through the military academy stop by the Counseling Office during your lunch.

Attention seniors:  The Lynda Collins Memorial Scholarship is in honor of all the time, effort and love that Linda Collins gave to the Chelsea Community.  Applications for this local scholarship are available in the counseling office.

Attention freshmen:  The yearbook has some questions for you as you begin to look back at your first year in high school!  Under the, “extras” tab in your Haiku, you’ll find, “yearbook surveys.”  Please answer these by Tuesday.

Seniors, it’s that time of year for Mock Elections!  Under the, “extras” tab on your Haiku, you’ll find a survey where you can fill out who you think most fits each category.  Please submit your answers by Tuesday, March 15.

There will be a World Language Club meeting this Wednesday at 7:40 in Mr.Forsberg's room. We will be planning International Night.
