Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, March 9.

Attention NHS members:  There is an activity that you might want to sign up for.  There is a beef banquet on Thursday at the high school and they need 12 workers.  Go to the NHS Haiku page to the sign up genius.

Please join us tonight at Quality 16 to help support Shimizu Exchange Program.  50% of concession sales will be donated to the program.

Attention freshmen:  The yearbook has some questions for you as you begin to look back at your first year in high school!  Under the, “extras” tab in your Haiku, you’ll find, “yearbook surveys.”  Please answer these by Tuesday, March 15.

Attention seniors:  It’s that time of year…Mock Elections!  Under the, “extras” tab on your Haiku, you’ll find a survey where you can fill out who you think most fits each category.  Please submit your answers by Tuesday, March 15.

Attention seniors:  Silver Maples offer four different scholarship opportunities for students that are current employees or have a family member this is a current employee.   Applications for are due March 15th, April 15th and May 15th so don't miss out!  Information is posted outside the counseling office door and on the counseling office website.

A new Girls Devotional Group is forming and will begin meeting on Wednesday, March 16 @ 7:30am in Mr. Moundros' Room #220.  All girls are welcome to join and start the day in a great way!  Donuts will be provided.  Questions?  See Natasha McElrath.

Attention men’s track athletes:  Please stop by Mr. Swager's room and pick up your locker combination sheets, and drop off your paperwork TODAY.  Practice starts Monday, so fire up !!!

O'Quinn Family Edward Jones Scholarship is an opportunity for students who plan to enter an accredited four-year college or university, desire to study business, and who have developed a cursory understanding of the importance of ethical behavior in business.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.
The Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan are awarding three scholarships to Chelsea High School Seniors this year. 

The  Brewster E. and Emily C. Peabody Scholarship based on academic scholarship and financial need.

The George L. Palmer Scholarship for students pursuing an education in a trade or vocation or an associate degree at non-profit college or university.

The Robert L. Daniels Scholarship for students pursuing a post-secondary education in building trades or building technology.

The Lynda Collins Memorial Scholarship is in honor of all the time, effort and love that Linda Collins gave to the Chelsea Community. 

Don't miss out on these scholarship opportunities that are awarded specifically to Chelsea High School students.  Application packets are available in the Counseling Office.
