Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, May 9.

Congrats to the men’s track team, who had an awesome day on Friday at the Golden Triangle Invitational.
The 800 relay of Lawrence Buckley, Bailey Edwards, Zach Skogheim, and Cam Cooper set a school record of 1:29.58, while the 400 Relay of Edwards, Skogheim, Cooper, and Stasiak ran the 2nd fastest time in school history.  Noah Van Reesema ran the 2nd fastest time in school history for the 300 hurdles  while Carson Rabbitt set a freshman mile record.

Chelsea Girls Track & Field came away with an impressive win at the Stockbridge Invitational with 113 points. Christine Schultz placed 1st in the pole vault and Jenna Gileczek placed 3rd.  The 4x200 relay team of Matusik, Almhiemid, Schultz, and Manly placed 2nd in a close race.  Jesse Jacobusse placed 1st in the 1600m  and 2nd in the 800m.  Hannah Almhiemid placed 1st in the 100m hurdles.  Laney Miller placed 3rd in the 300m hurdles and 5th in 100m hurdles.  Karana Wickens placed 2nd in the 3200m run and Allison Hughes placed 3rd.

Seniors: The deadline for the Chelsea Lions Club Service Award is today.    This yearly award is
available to two recipients for service to the community, be it your school, your town, your place of worship, a Lions club, or any combination.   Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

Seniors, be sure to bring your iPads to the class meeting tomorrow.
