Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, June 6.

All men's track athletes, final locker clean out is today after school at the WSEC.  Meet Coach Swager and Coach Forsberg in the WSEC locker room if you still need to clean out your locker and/or hand in your uniform.

The girls track and field team had a great day at the State Meet. The team scored 12 points and placed in the top 20 teams at the State Meet. Three girls earned All-State Honors. They were Senior Christine Schultz, State Runner-Up in the pole vault (11' 5"), Junior Jesse Jacobusse 6th in the 1600m (5:09.39), and Sophmore Sydney Matusik 8th in the 400m dash (60.04).  Other State competitors were Karana Wickens, Laney Miller, Hannah Almheimid, Kaehla Manly, Jenna Gileczek, Jacqueline Taylor, Allison Hughes, and Ailish Joyce.

Congrats to the mens track team who finished 12th in the state at the MHSAA finals on Saturday.   Three individuals and two relays earned all-state status: Bailey Edwards placed in both the 100 and 200 dashes. Tom Oates was 4th in the 1600 Run.  The 800 Relay of Skogheim, Buckley, Edwards and Cooper were 5th and the 1600 relay of Skogheim, Buckley, Cooper, and Roush was 4th and set a new school record in the process!  Many other guys performed very well on Saturday.  Thanks for a great season.

Attention all athletes and people who like fun.  There will be a meeting for all guys and girls interested in running Cross-Country this fall on Tuesday, June 8 at 2:59 PM in Mr. Swager's room.  Bring stuff for an adventure run afterwards. See you there.

Attention Wrestlers.  There will be a meeting next Thursday June 9th at 7:30am in Mr. French's room to discuss vital information about the summer workouts and CMU team camp. If you can't make it please see Coach French.

Calling all actors, singers, and dancers: Auditions for the Theatre Guild's 2016 fall musical, 42nd Street, will be Monday and Tuesday, June 6 and June 7 from 3:30-6:30 in the Drama Room. Please wear dance attire and prepare and bring sheet music for 16-32 measures of a song to sing. All are welcome- no experience required.  Hope to see you there and break a leg!
