Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, September 15.
School pictures are this Friday. Order forms are available online or in the front office. As a reminder to seniors, this photo is the one that will appear on your transcripts so dress accordingly.
If you have not picked up your school ID card, you may do so in the front office or during lunch in the commons.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: The following colleges will be visiting next week: Tuesday is Hope College, Friday is Western Michigan University. Sign up in the Counseling Office.
Any girls interested in being on the track team should meet in Mr. Rodriguez's room, #132, tomorrow from 7:40-7:55am. Come to the track meeting to get info about the team and pre-season conditioning. Also, all girls from last year's track team can pick up their regional championship patch. If you can't make it, please see Mr. Rodriguez at another time.
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in iPad insurance money.
Test-Out forms for the November testing day are due tomorrow by 3:00 pm. Forms are available in the Counseling Office and will not be accepted after that date.
Interact's first meeting of the year is this Friday at 7:40 in Ms. Lutz's new room (room 231). If you like having fun and helping people, this is the club for you. Come to the meeting to find out what Interact is all about.
Key Club will be holding our first general membership meeting on Friday at 7:20 in room 116. All students who are interested in joining or finding out more about Key Club are invited to attend this meeting. Key Club is an international community service club whose mission is to improve the lives of children locally, nationally, and internationally.
Co.C auditions are next Tuesday. Here's your chance to step out of your comfort zone and be a part of what we think is the most welcoming, supportive, and extraordinary team at Chelsea High. See the posted flyers for information.
Attention Theatre Guild Members! There will be a Theatre Guild meeting at 3:00 in the auditorium on Friday, September 16. Make sure you don't miss this important meeting. Anyone interested in finding out more about participating in theatre at CHS is welcome to join!
Submissions for the artwork contest for the fall musical 42nd Street are due by Friday! Artists should submit original work that reflects the themes of the show, uses no more than 4 colors, and has no text. The winner of the contest will have their artwork featured on the 42nd Street program, poster, and t-shirts, and will receive a $25 gift card for either Amazon or iTunes- winner's choice! Submissions can be turned in at the auditorium after school.
