Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, October 24.

The following colleges are visiting this week:

Tuesday - University of Toledo
Thursday - Oakland University
Friday - Concordia College and Washtenaw Community College

Join us on Wednesday for Lunchtime Career Talks in the choir room. We will welcome Dr. James Duncan who is a chiropractor. Enjoy some Cottage Inn Pizza and pop while you learn about Dr. Duncan's career.

Eastern Michigan University is presenting information about their Early College Alliance program on Wednesday, October 26th in the Chelsea High School Media Center from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Students who are currently in the 9th or 10th grade are eligible to enroll in ECA for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Attention all freshmen.  On Tuesday, October 25, you will take the Engage Survey (social/emotional assessment). Students will report to the commons at 9:15 with their IPADS for the assessment which will last about 25-30 minutes.

Sophomores!  How are those magazine sales going?  Please do you best to help raise funds for our class by selling as much as possible.  Submit your paper order forms to Mrs. Kurcz in room 216, or have your customers place their orders online.  Remember the deadline for sales is November 1st, and you will receive prizes for multiple sales.  So, get out there and sell, Class of 2019!

The Halloween Orchestra Concert is tonight at 7:00p.  This is always a fun show!

Chelsea High School's Gay-Straight Alliance is looking to kick-off its 12th year!  We are looking for new members to help us build GSA again!  Join us for our FIRST meeting on Tuesday, October 25th from 3:00-4:00 in the counseling office.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Morris in the counseling office.  There will be food and fun.  Bring a friend who is interested in joining.  We are always looking for more allies.  We will meet every Tuesday in the counseling office from 3:00-4:00 for the remainder of the year. 

Seniors! Your senior pictures and senior quotes are due to the yearbook editors by November 1st.  Email them to or drop your quotes off in the red box labeled for senior quotes in the journalism room.
