Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, February 29.


A reminder to all football players that the lift a thon is Wednesday at 7pm in the high school gym.  Please wear gold shorts and bring the fundraised money.

Attention Wrestlers.  Please see Coach French by the end of the day today.

Girls Soccer will have a short informational meeting, Thursday after school in Room 110.

Attention anyone interested in running track this spring.  There will be a mandatory meeting after school Tuesday (March 1) in the Media Center at 2:59 PM.    If you have a conflict, you MUST see Mr. Swager or Mr. Rodriguez to fill out the paperwork.  The season is 2 weeks away, so fire up !!!  Also, six track and field athletes participated in the MITS State Championship held at Aquinas College. Christine Schultz placed 13th in pole vault, Emily Morales placed 14th in the triple jump, Kaehla Manly placed 27th in the 400m dash, Zach Skoghiem placed 12th in the 400m dash, Hannah Almhiemid placed 19th in the 60m hurdles and Bailey Edwards placed 3rd in the 60m dash.

Fellowship of the Christian Athletes (FCA) will be meeting in Mr. French’s room Wednesday morning at 7:40. Come for a quick devotion, food and fellowship.  Everyone is welcome.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, February 24.

There is a fan bus offered for the pre regional hockey game on Wednesday in Lansing.  There is no charge to ride.  Students can sign up in the athletic office.

Attention AP students planning to take AP tests in May.  On-line registration for AP testing has begun and will end at 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 15th.   The registration link is on the Counseling Office website.

Chelsea Village Conference Center is looking for part time Servers and Dishwashers to work on weekends. For more information see the job posting by the Counseling Office doors.

Attention Seniors! If you purchased as Senior Class t-shirt, they will be ready for pick up on Friday morning in the commons. We will be wearing these t-shirts to the pep rally! Please remember to pay your $10 for the shirt by the end of this week to Mrs. Bareis or Kelly Bertoni.

Spring Play callbacks have been cancelled for this afternoon and will be postponed to the next school day. Once again, the Theatre Guild's Spring Play callbacks are cancelled this afternoon.

The Chelsea District Library is closing at 300pm today due to the weather.

There will be no CHO practice tonight.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, February 23.


Attention AP students planning to take AP tests in May.  On-line registration for AP testing begins tomorrow and will end at 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 15th.   The registration link is on the Counseling Office website.

Attention student council members:  We have a full council meeting tomorrow during 4th hour at 12:40pm.

Theatre Guild auditions for the spring play continue today to from 3:30 to 6:30pm today. Auditioners should dress to move and should prepare a poem or Shakespearean monologue one minute in length to read. Students interested in working on technical or backstage aspects of the production should stop by between 3:00 and 3:30pm.  If you attended yesterday’s session, you do not need to attend today.

Attention Sophomores!  We have started a new fundraiser.  Check the Extras tab in Haiku for detailed information.

There will be a World Language Club meeting this Wednesday February 24th, at 7:40am in Mr.Forsberg's room. We will be discussing international night.  Everyone is welcome.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Monday, February 22.

Coach Forsch congratulates the Chelsea High School Science Olympiad team on their 8th place at the Ionia Invitational. They competed with 19 teams who were from all over Michigan and Indiana and Ohio.

Today and Tuesday from 3:30 to 6:30pm, the Theatre Guild will hold auditions for its spring play: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Auditioners should dress to move and should prepare a poem or Shakespearean monologue one minute in length to read. Auditioners need only attend one of the two audition days. Students interested in working on technical or backstage aspects of the production should stop by between 3:00 and 3:30pm.

Attention Sophomores!  We have started a new fundraiser.  Check the Extras tab in Haiku for detailed information.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, February 19.


Attention NHS members. The induction ceremony is Monday night.  Everyone needs to meet at 7:20 Monday morning in the auditorium for this important practice.  This includes the new juniors and the seniors who were included in October.  All members need to show up for this practice Monday morning in the auditorium.

Attention CHS students and staff, Co. C will be performing this Saturday February, 20th at 7:00 pm in our auditorium! Joining us are 4 other schools from around Michigan. Advanced reserved seat tickets are at Chelsea Pharmacy or will be sold at the door. 

Attention all Seniors! This week the Senior Class Student Council is selling specially designed Graduating Class t-shirts for $10. If interested please see Mrs. Bareis, Kelly Bertoni, or one of your class council members. Money and order forms are due today.
