Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, March 31.



Seniors :  The Community Foundation Scholarships application deadline is Friday, April, 1st. This includes the Brewster E. and Emily C. Peabody Scholarship based on academic scholarship and financial need.

The George L. Palmer Scholarship for students pursuing an education in a trade or vocation or an associate
degree at non-profit college or university.

The Robert L. Daniels Scholarship for students pursuing a post-secondary education in building trades or building technology.  Don't miss out on these scholarship opportunities that are awarded specifically to Chelsea High School students.  Application packets are available in the Counseling Office.

Thompson's Pizzeria is looking for pizza makers and dishwashers.  See the job posting board outside the counseling office door.

Seniors: The Chelsea Education Foundation 2016 scholarship program will be accepting applications from April 1st to April 30th. There are two new scholarships this year. One is for a student studying, or intending to study, a healthcare related field while maintaining a job outside of school. The other is for women who are pursuing, or intend to pursue, a degree in a financial field. Check out the selection criteria for these and our other scholarships in the areas of engineering, teaching, culinary arts, nursing, non-traditional students, community service, and outdoorsmen. One online application covers all the different scholarships and may be accessed from the CHS Counseling Office Website.

Prom is coming up which means it's time for those creative proposals. Submit a photo or video of your extra special promproposal to chspromposal@gmail.com by April 15th for a chance to score 2 free prom tickets for you and your date! Winners will be announced April 20th.

Attention all Key Club members!  There will be a Key Club meeting Friday morning April 1st at 7:30 in room 116.  We have a project to plan and service opportunities to talk about.  Hope to see everyone there!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors.  If you are interested in becoming a Link Leader for next year, please attend one of the information sessions during lunch on Monday, April 11. Applications are available on the Link Crew website.

Student Council elections are coming up in April and registration is open on Haiku under your class page. You can talk to Ms. Geo if you have any questions.  All materials are due Wednesday April 13th.

This is the last chance for Brass Pass applications.  They are due to the office by today.

There will be a world language club meeting tomorrow at 7:40 in Mr. Forsberg's room. We will make posters for International Night.

Student Council elections are coming up in April and registration is open on Haiku under your class page. You can talk to Ms. Geo if you have any questions.  All materials are due Wednesday April 13th.

There will be a world language club meeting this Wednesday March 30th, at 7:40 in Mr.Forsberg's room. We will make posters for International Night.

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, March 24.


Attention all football players:  Anyone that raised over $100 in the lift a thon please see Coach Bush in the athletic office for your shirt.  Team prizes are also in.

Test-Out forms for the May testing day are due today by 3:00 pm.   Forms are available in the Counseling Office and will not be accepted after today.

Summer job opportunities will be posted outside the counseling office door so check often.  Two new postings were added today for a part time Personal Assistant and a Gardening Assistant.

Come join us as the bio club screens "The Martian" starring Matt Damon. We will be showing the film tonight
at 7PM in room 226.  Bring a snack, bring a friend and have fun!

Attention Theatre Guild members! Kick off your three day weekend with a Theatre Guild meeting today in the Drama Room from 3pm to 4pm. We will talk about the upcoming banquet, varsity letters, and enjoy some improv!

Brass Pass applications are now available in the front office.

Extravaganza is tonight at the WSEC cafeteria.  If you ordered a shirt you can pick it up at the door of the dance or from Geo. Walk-ins are welcome at the door for a cost of $5 but will not receive a shirt. Extravaganza provides dancing, prizes, food, and games. Come and bring your friends to join the fun. 

There will be an SLS meeting on Monday, March 28 at 7:30 am in room 113.
