Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, September 30.

The following colleges will be visiting next week.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.
Monday - Wayne State University
Tuesday - Adrian College
Thursday - Albion College
Friday - University of Michigan-Dearborn

Next Wednesday, Oct. 5, at "Career Lunchtime Talks" Cheryl and Peter Caffrey, Senior Mechanical and Fire Safety Engineers from the Environmental Protection Agency will be here to discuss and help you explore career paths in engineering.  All considering engineering as a career option should attend.

Field hockey’s Play for the Cure game is tonight 6pm at the home turf.  100% of proceeds go to cancer research!

There will be a meeting, for all girls interested in playing softball next spring, on Tuesday, October 4th at 7:30 in the Team Room.  If you have any questions or are unable to attend, please contact Coach Connelly directly.

Attention all Sophomores!  We are building the class float this weekend tonight and Saturday from 6-9pm. There will be pizza for $2.00.  For more details see a Student Council Member.

The Homecoming guest forms are due to the office today.

Attention students and staff!  Key Club is sponsoring a shoe drive during Spirit week.  The class donating the most shoes by the end of the week will win 50 points toward the spirit week competition.  Staff, if you win, Key Club will host a staff breakfast.  The shoe drive will raise money for an international effort to eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus.  Tetanus is a fatal disease that is easily preventable.  A vaccine which costs $1.80 can save the lives of a mother and her unborn child.  For more info go to www.kiwanis.org.  Please donate shoes, boots, and sandals that are clean and wearable. Shoe collection boxes will be in the commons.  Thanks in advance for supporting this effort!!

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Thursday, September 29.


NHS students, we still need a few workers for next Thursday's blood drive.  Please check the signup genius in the NHS Haiku page.

Attention all Sophomores!  We are building the class float this weekend on Friday and Saturday from 6-9pm. There will be pizza for $2.00.  For more details see a Student Council Member.

There will be a Key Club meeting on Friday Sept 30 at 7:30 am in room 116.  If you were unable to attend our first meeting but would still like to be part of Key Club, you are welcome to join us.  Please remember to bring your annual dues to this meeting.

SRSLY's Youth Steering Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, October 3. The Youth Steering Committee (YSC) is for any youth who wants to be more involved with SRSLY, helping to plan SRSLY events and taking on leadership roles within the SRSLY Chelsea Coalition. Come and join the YSC in the Atrium rooms A & B at the Chelsea Hospital from 6:30 – 8:00 pm next Monday for the fun!

Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, September 28.


Congrats to the men's XC team who won the SEC Jamboree #2 yesterday at Willow Metropark.
The Bulldogs placed 5 runners in the top ten, including Carson Rabbitt and Jensen Holm who ran lifetime beats.
Good work men!  This Saturday is the Chelsea Invitational Cross country meet.  Hot harrier action gets going at
9:00, and the open race (all invited) finishes the day at 11:30.   Come out and enjoy a beautiful run/walk on scenic trails for only $5.00.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Free Cottage Inn pizza and pop on Wednesday September 28 for those attending "Lunchtime Career Talks" in the Choir room. We will welcome Dr. Beau Carson, an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Michigan Medical School, who has 14 years of experience in biomedical science research.

All students going on the Gettysburg trip need to pick up information in the glass display case next to Mr. Pedlow's room.

All students who are studying Spanish this year, or have studied Spanish in the past, who are interested in participating in Spanish club activities and events, por favor come to Senora Cole's room 136, zero hour on Thursday, Sept. 29th!  Senor Rodriguez and Senora Cole hope to see you there! Ole!
