Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, February 1.


Chelsea Varsity Hockey is hosting Dexter at the Arctic Coliseum this Saturday.  All CHS students will get in free to the event when they show up in any Chelsea gear. So throw on that varsity jacket and head to the rink for a 7pm puck drop. Chelsea vs Dexter is always exciting!

Reminder to current 9th, 10th and 11th grade students:  Your '17 -'18 course requests must be submitted online no later than 3 p.m. this Thursday.   All course request sheets with appropriate forms attached are due to your 5th hour teacher by this Friday.

Attention Seniors:  The Kevin Bollinger Conservation Memorial Scholarship application forms are available in the Counseling Office.    This scholarship is available for any post-secondary education, including vocational, technical, two year and four year degree.  The Josee L. Alvarez Memorial Scholarship is awarding $1,500 to a graduating Chelsea High School senior this year.  The application deadline is March 14th.  Stop by the Counseling Office for more information or visit the scholarships web page for the link for the online application.

Attention Senior Wrestlers:  The Kevin J. Bollinger Memorial Wrestling Scholarship application forms are available in the Counseling Office. This scholarship is available to Chelsea wrestlers for any post-secondary education, including vocational, technical, two year and four year degree.  Don't miss out on this scholarship opportunity.

Students looking for a part-time job there is a job posting for Hometown Pharmacy outside the counseling office door.

Spanish Club is holding a meeting this Thursday to discuss International Night, pen pals and movie night.  Also, the 2nd shipment of t-shirts have arrived, so stop by and pick them up.

Attention all students who are interested in serving community service hours.  There is an opportunity this Sunday at the American Legion Post 31.  Please stop by Mr. Slusser's room, room 130, tomorrow morning at 7:45 for more information.  If you miss the meeting, you are still welcome to help out on Sunday.
