Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, February 15.

The varsity hockey team plays Skyline at home tonight 7pm. The winner of this game claims the SEC league championship. All students will be let in free again to cheer on the team! The hockey team really appreciates all of your support and can’t wait to bring home the SEC title again this year. Be there tonight at 7pm at Artic Coliseum.

There will be a very important meeting for anyone who is interested in playing football next year on Friday at 730am in the high school gym.  Please see Coach Bush with any questions.

Attention seniors applying to Washtenaw Community College.  Did you know the President’s Honor and Procassini Scholarship can be awarded up to six CHS students and will pay for the full tuition for the academic year as well as $600 for books plus they are renewable for a second year! The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 15, 2017.  Don't delay!!

Attention all current and new National Honor Society members.  Do not forget that the induction ceremony is tonight beginning promptly at 7:00pm in the auditorium.

Nominations for Winter Carnival are open on Haiku.  Go to the extras tab and vote for your class representatives!

Do you like cold water and polar bears?  Then come join us for the annual Polar Plunge  at the UofM stadium on Friday, February 24 at 6:00p.  You must be registered in advance and all are welcome.  An awards ceremony catered by Buffalo Wild Wings follows.  See Ms. Segal, Mrs. Fillion or Olivia Outhwaite to register.  Futher information may be found on

There will be a Key Club Meeting on Friday February 17 at 7:30 in room 116. If you are a Key Club member and unable to attend this meeting, please drop by room 116 to pick up your membership card and pin.

Women’s Devotional will meet tomorrow at 7:45 in room 220.

Do you love trees? Care about the environment? Want to leave a living legacy at CHS? Arbor Club is meeting this Monday, Feb. 20th, at 1 pm in Mrs. Sinacola's room 134 to work on the Alumni Arbor.  Anyone interested in sharing their input and helping with the planting should plan to attend.
