Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, March 22.
This is a reminder that all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will be testing on April 11 (Tuesday after Spring Break). Juniors will have Work Keys on Wednesday, April 12th. Juniors will report both days to WSEC campus starting at 7:30am. Don't forget to bring number 2 pencils, a calculator, and your ID.
Attention all members of the Freshmen class of 2020. The deadline for our t-shirt order has been extended to March 31st, the day before Spring Break. Do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a class shirt. Please get in touch with your student council representatives or Mr. Slusser, located in room 130 for more information.
Applications for the National Honor Society Blood Drive Chair Position are due this Friday to Mrs. Mattias.
Attention all jump squad members. Your shirt order form is due to either Coach Rodriguez or Coach Slusser by today.
Are you interested in having a positive influence on your school and community? If so, then Students Leading Students (SLS) is the club for you! We will begin planning our after prom party this Thursday at 7:40 in Mr. Slusser's room, room 130. Stop by if you are looking for leadership opportunities in your school.
Attention Why You Matter Mentors. If you signed up to be a Peer Mentor you MUST check your email. There are two critical items in there for you to complete before the training. You must take the survey and get the permission slip formed. We will have extra permission slips in the office. They are DUE to Mrs. Morris in the counseling office by Friday, March 24th. Mr. Hipple will be here on Monday, March 27th. We will be training from 9:17-2:53 (2nd through 5th hour. You cannot participate if you do not have the permission form to us. Lunch will be provided. Thank you for your leadership!!!
The Theatre Guild will be holding a meeting to discuss the banquet, letter and ITS awards, and plans for the end of the year today at 3pm in the Drama Room. All Guild members are encouraged to attend.
Attention all students interested in leaving a legacy at CHS: The Arbor Club is looking for student liaisons to help with the Alumni Arbor planting on May 6th. Any student interested in helping CHS graduates plant their class tree should talk to Mrs. Sinacola or Mrs. Stockmaster to sign-up! All are welcome! Come help us transform the outdoor area of CHS into a beautiful arbor.
