Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, April 18.

Juniors: you should soon see an app called "DRC Insight" installed on your iPad.  Do not delete the app it will be used for M-STEP testing.  If you don't have the app by Thursday please see Mr. Dosey in the media center.

Are you interested in spending 10 days in London, Paris, Florence, and Rome? Take a trip with your friends during the summer of 2018. The trip is open to any current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who attend Chelsea High School. Invite your parents to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, April 20 at 5:30 pm. Additional information is posted outside of room 232 or contact Ms. Bauermeister with questions.

This Wednesday’s career talk will welcome Howdy Holmes, the owner and CEO of the nationally famous Jiffy Mix.  He will discuss his careers in manufacturing, advertising and world class race car driving.  Meet in the choir room, where a pizza lunch will be provided.

Join us on May 18th for a field trip to Huron Valley Ambulance in Ann Arbor.  Learn more about EMS as a career or a stepping stone to other health care opportunities. Sign up in the counseling office. The deadline for signing up is Friday, April 21.

The GSA meeting today has been cancelled.

The Chelsea Soccer Club Scholarship applications are due Friday, April 21.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

Prom tickets are being sold during all three lunches this week and next. Tickets are $35 for juniors and $30 for seniors. Bring cash or make checks payable to "Chelsea High School." This year's prom is located at the Cascades Manor House in Jackson and our theme is the Enchanted Forest. A shuttle bus from CHS to the Manor House will be available free of charge.

The Arbor Club needs your help with planting the Alumni Arbor on Saturday, May 6th. Please go to Haiku under your class page and find the Alumni Arbor's informational presentation and link to sign up to volunteer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet past CHS graduates, to help leave a lasting legacy in the form of a tree, and to earn community service hours. Please see Mrs. Sinacola or Mrs. Stockmaster if you have any questions.
