Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Wednesday, May 3.

The guys track team defeated Ypsilanti last night 90-47, but lost to Adrian in a nailbiter. This was only the 2nd loss in the past 5 years for the thinclads.  Chris Roush had a monster day, winning 4 events, and Tom Oates won three. We had a good team effort facing adversity.   Good work men.

The girl’s track & field team came away with two wins at the double dual meet hosted by Adrian last night: Chelsea 71 Adrian 66 & Chelsea 124 Ypsilanti 13. We were solid in our performances in field events, hurdles, and open races. We will finish this week with the Stockbridge Invitational on Friday.  Highlights were Hannah Almhiemid placed 1st in the 100m hurdles, 1st in the 300m hurdles, and 2nd in the high jump.  Sydney Matusik placed 1st in the 200m dash and 400m dash. Sabrina Matusko placed 1st pole vault with a height of 8' 6" and Jesse Jacobusse, with a banged up shoulder and sore ankle, still came through with much needed points in the 1600m and 800m by placing 2nd.

The Concerto Concert tonight begins at 7:30p tonight not at 7:00p.
