Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Tuesday, February 28.


Attention all football players.  A reminder that the Lift- A-Thon is this Wednesday at 7pm.  All players are to report at 6:45pm in the weight room.  Please wear gold shorts and bring your fundraised money with you that evening.  Questions please see Coach Bush.

Attention all athletes and people who like fun. There will be a short, mandatory meeting for all men and women interested in running track this year at 2:59 PM this THURSDAY in Mr. Swager's room.  Please see Mr. Swager or Mr. Rodriguez with any questions.

Attention National Honor Society Students, tomorrow morning's meeting will be split into two locations.  All Seniors will be meeting is Room 224 and all Juniors will be meeting in room 117.  The meeting starts promptly
at 7:20am.

Join us on Wednesday for Lunchtime Career Talks in the orchestra room (402). We will welcome John Salyer, Training Director and Instructor at the Ann Arbor Electrical J.A.T.C. (Joint Apprenticeship Training Center). Come and enjoy pizza, cookies, fruit and pop while you learn about careers as an electrician and careers in the union.

Attention Seniors:  If you have been involved in volunteer or community service through school or another organization the Chelsea Area Women’s Service Club Community Service Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity for you.  Applications are available in the counseling office.

Seniors that are active CHS Interact Club members can apply for the Rotary Club of Chelsea Interact Club Scholarship.  Applications are in the counseling office.

Co.C makes its debut at Showcase 2017 this Saturday night. We close out the night after performances of show choirs and acappella groups from Adrian, Ann Arbor Skyline, Battle Creek Lakeview, Fenton, and Greenville High Schools.  Advance-sale tickets are now available at Chelsea Pharmacy.

There is a Creative Writing Club meeting today at 3pm in Mrs. Putnam's room 236. Come join us to prepare and practice for the Open Mic on Friday March 3rd at 6:30 pm. See Mrs. Putnam or Mrs. Sinacola to sign up.

Do you like to try new food? Learn more about different cultures? Socialize with your friends?  Maybe even learn a new dance?  Then come to the International Night Wednesday, Mar. 1 in the commons from 5-7pm for all of the above!  You will be able to sample food from different countries, spend time with friends and family and learn a dance or two. Admission is free but for $1 you will get 4 tickets to give your vote for your favorite food/s.

There are only two days left to’ Bring the Change’ for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan!  Currently the Seniors are in first place with the Sophomores close behind.  Remember the winning class will be announced during the pep assembly tomorrow and will receive points for your class!  Step up and ‘Bring the Change’!
