Good afternoon students and staff, here are the announcements for Friday, March 31.



Congrats to the men’s track team, who took home a boatload of medals from last night's Hillsdale invitational.    Top 3 finishes were turned in by Liam Heaney who won the mile, Chris Roush in 2 events, Josh Wilkerson, Foster Thorburn, and Jensen Holm.  Good work men.

Attention Seniors:  The Chelsea Education Foundation is pleased to announce their 2017 scholarship program. Applications will be accepted from April 1st to April 30th. Check out their scholarships in the areas of engineering, financial, teaching, culinary arts, nursing, health care related fields, non-traditional students, community service, and outdoorsmen.  Get your requests for letters of recommendation in early so you can upload them with your application by the 30th.

Don't forget to submit your online application for the Chelsea Scholarship Committee by April 15th.  Look on the Counseling Office web page for more information about both of these local scholarship opportunities.  Do not miss out since each cover multiple scholarships offered by our community.

Interested in becoming a Link Leader? There is an information meeting during the lunches on Monday April 10th in
room 303. 

Attention all Freshmen, class of 2020.  Do not miss out on a chance to get your very own class t-shirt.  Order forms and money are due to a student council member or to Mr. Slusser today.  If you did not get an order form, you can pick one up in Mr. Slusser's room, room 130.

Juniors, as a reminder, the pre-test administration for the SAT and Work Keys is today at 1:00 in the Commons.  Bring #2 pencils. 

All girl’s tennis players need to report to Coach Pedlow’s room today from 3:00-4:00. 

Attention Seniors:  The Chelsea Education Foundation is pleased to announce their 2017 scholarship program. Applications will be accepted from April 1st to April 30th. Ann Arbor Public School District invites Chelsea students to their 32nd Annual College & Career Fair at Pioneer High School this Wednesday, March 29th from 6:00 - 8:00PM.   This outstanding fair offers students the chance to explore both educational and career opportunities to plan for their future.  Representatives from colleges all over the nation will be present.

Any student that is interested in potentially being a part of a ski team next winter, please come to the athletic office to sign up.  Only sign up if you are serious about this opportunity.

The Dexter Devils, a Southeastern Michigan Rugby Club, will be holding an informational practice this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30PM at the Lacrosse field.  Those who are interested in Rugby, or just want to see it first hand, are welcome to come to the field and practice or just watch.  All are welcome.

Due to compatibility issues with spring testing, students must update their iPads to the most current iOS by April 10th.  Please back up any files prior to running the update.  Due to the time it takes to install, please don't start the update until you have enough time for it to complete and are at a location not limited in data.  Do NOT stop the update once it starts or it may wipe the iPad and require a restore.  See Mr. Dosey in the Media Center with any issues.

Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team who competed with 6 other schools and earned ribbons at Regionals on Saturday in Ecology, Experimental Design, Astronomy and Invasive Species. 1st place medals were earned by Kylie Saxton and Carolyn Pierce for Forensics, and Madilynn O'Hara and Emma Stanavich for Rocks & Minerals.  2nd place medals were earned by Kylie Saxton and Bennett Proegler for Chemistry Lab.
